both will do that motor and batt combo...what you want to look at is will you be wanting to run 4S later...If it were my choice of those two I would go HH..FXR is a good esc, but 4S is looking promissing....and fun what kind of rig are you putting this in..you still should pick up a BEC along with your choice |

It's a scx-10 scaler with 1.9 tires. I don't think imma go to 4s but if I do that may as well as go 6s with the HH but I don't want to burn up my motor Enless it can handle that much power? They both have a 1 year warranty but if I get the HH waterproof version it's only got a 60 day warranty. I had a FXR before and I loved it Okay I figured out the prices too FXR will be 98 bucks. the HH will be $122 |

you can pick up a radio shack box and water proof all your electronics...put everything in the box and seal it up. true, 4S and 6S will shorten your life of the motor faster...but so will not cleaning it...going 3S and not doing maintenance on your motor probably burn as fast as if you go 6S and maintain it often... it is a tuff choice, both are really good...also consider that Holmes is a vendor here and if you have problems PM's are faster than e-mail sometimes Last edited by squatch71; 10-29-2011 at 08:40 PM. |

Well I have a couple boxes anyways. That's I have my setup so I really don't need the waterproof one because i put them the boxes and silicone them. It makes me feel better because then I know it water proof. But my old FXR fit the box I have perfect and I don't know how big the HH is. I think I'll stick with 3s batteries tho But still a tough call Oh ya I have a castle BEC already |
