Rx wire nipped?????

Yeah as I was removing the plate I nipped about a 1/4in off the Rx antenna  should it still be good? I got 2 so no worry if its not. Everything works right cept the servo now unloads when turning in a bind. Im only running storage charged 3s lipo with a BEC set at 7.4v for minor steering testing. You guys think its the Rx or just under powered lipo causeing the servo to unload in a bind?

Its a traxxas TQ 2.4 Rx if that matters

How is the BEC hooked to the servo? Straight or through the RX?

Straight to the servo. only wire to the Rx is the signal

Most 2.4ghz radios are not real picky about cutting the antenna a bit, or even coiling it up. It changes the range some, but not enough for crawling.
Did you set your steering EPA's?? You may be overdriving the servo against hard parts and drawing a ton of amps that is hitting the LVC in the ESC and browning out the RX (or even overdrawing the external BEC).

yep checked all that. I figured it was just over loading without enough power just wanted to make sure I didnt screw up a good Rx. If I romp the throttle at full turn it will turn straight or opposite way. If I turn into a wall with 1 wheel and try to go up it will unload for a split second and as soon as I let off the throttle it will torque right back to full lock. Ill will charge a lipo and see if it keeps it up just got the crawler in peaces at the moment and it was bugging the hell out of me :lmao:
