Default What channel to plug stuff into.

Just making sure I got the correct thing plugged into where its supposed to go.
Im almost done building my MRC I got everything soldered up and Zip tied the esc to the frame. Got motor plugged into using bullets to the esc.
Got my CC Bec soldering into the battery plug along with the esc.
I got 3 connecters, One from Servo, One from ESc and One from the BEC
Need to know what channel to plug into what. I have 4 slots on my receiver
channel1,2,3 and another one. 3 says bind beside it also. the radio and receiver are Flysky FS-GT3B And receiver using is FlySky Extra FS-GTR 3 Channel R/C Car 2.4Ghz Receiver.

the bec should just plug into a open channel. you have to disconect the red wire on your esc when you do this.

For me it would be ch 1 steering, ch 2 open (for rear steer) ch 3 esc without red wire connected, ch 4 BEC.

for you, ch 1 is steering, ch 2 is esc without red wire, ch 3 should then be bec. i havent used your radio before, so im sure someone who has will chime in.

The Esc is a SideWinder Micro btw. Right now i got the red from esc?bec soldered togather and onto deans
Also got black from bec and black from esc to neg side of deans.
So your saying I should only hook the red wire from bec to the deans?

No.....the input side of the BEC must have both wires connected. Red to battery power, black to battery power (whether you do this where the ESC connects or the deans.......your choice).
The red wire from the ESC where it connects to the RX (BEC output side) is what needs to be removed from the plug and covered in tape.

Also don't forget the negative side faces out on the rx or be prepared to buy another.

There are 3 wires that ome out of your esc that plug into the rx. Take the middle one (which is the color red) and snip it. Then you should only have 2 wires off your esc that goes into your rx. I believe its the brown and yellow. NO RED MIDDLE WIRE NEEDED FROM ECS TO RX.

If you aren't sure which channel to use, do this...

plug bec into reciever
plug battery into bec
plug steering servo into either channel 1 or 2
wiggle the steering wheel, if the servo moves, its in the right spot
if it doesn't move, try the throttle, if it moves then, pull it out and plug it into the other channel and try again

+1, DON'T CUT the red wire from the ESC to the RX, just remove it from the connector and tape it off.......

x2

The bec can go in ch3 or VCC, doesn't matter as the power rails are common.
