Default Airtronics 94780m ??

I scored 6 of these from lhs for peanuts, but none of them came with instructions or spec sheets. I found the torque out puts at 4.8 and 6.0 so my quetions are these since I never uesed these before. The are going in a scx10 6x6 rig. I dont need the full torque out put either.

I wanna know if I can run these off a axial AE-2 esc or Will i need a bec. Or can I programm the esc to use it?

Can I run lipos with it? I ask because i read here some guys have run 2 and 3s lipos but dont know if they used a bec or if it hurt the servo.

I did search but only found a few things here

I ran one of those, but I kept cracking the front and middle case when it was on my Berg with heavy front wheels. 423 ounces at 6 volts I think, pretty strong.

I'm guessing that if you stay with 2S you might get away with not needing an external BEC if you're using it for steering, the AE-2 might be able to handle it.

I have no idea if a winch puts a higher strain on a servo or not.

Make it easy on yourself, and get a BEC.
