Default Delay in acceleration

I have all my electronics set up in my wraith kit in the battery tray in the back. I have a tekin fxr with bec, axial wraith rtr receiver/transmitter and tekin 35t motor. It runs good except one issue. When reversing then going to throttle there is a delay. You have to completely stop the car for a few seconds then it goes forward. Anyone ever had this problem?

You have the Tekin on the wrong reverse or brake profile.

Set it to Motor Type 2 and it will be immediate forward/reverse.

Yes, I believe motor type can be set without a Hotwire.

Link to manual.... http://www.teamtekin.com/manuals/FXManual.pdf

Yeah ive got a manual, but I cant seem to find the Motor Type setting in the manual at all.

The only settings i can find that can be adjusted are as below-

1- DRAG BRAKE (DRG B)

2- NEUTRAL WIDTH (NW)

3- REVERSE STRENGTH-FXR/FXR Pro (RS)

4- CURRENT LIMITER (LIM)

5- PUSH CONTROL / ANTI DRAG (PC )

6- REVERSE TYPE — FX-R/ FX -R Pro (RT)

7- THROTTLE PROFILES— FX/ F X Pro (TP)

8- VOLTAGE CUT OFF (VC)
