Default capacitor help...?

i have an esc that comes with a 470uF 25v cap stock.
i have read on here that a person can increase the uF rating to lessin cogging...

said person installed a 1500uF 16v cap, i was able to come up with a
1000uF 35v cap.
will the 1000uf 35v cap work?

if not it was the LEAST expensive mistake purchase i have ever made in this hobby...

thanks ahead of time.

It will likely work. The biggest concern is the voltage rating, you want the CAP to handle whatever pack voltage you run.

Did you try looking at DigiKey? They have a pretty decent selection of parts and may have what you're looking for.

The best way to lessen cogging is to run a sensored brushless ESC & motor.

If it's a scaler or basher, cogging is less of an issue.
