| capacitor help...?
i have an esc that comes with a 470uF 25v cap stock. i have read on here that a person can increase the uF rating to lessin cogging... said person installed a 1500uF 16v cap, i was able to come up with a 1000uF 35v cap. will the 1000uf 35v cap work? if not it was the LEAST expensive mistake purchase i have ever made in this hobby... thanks ahead of time. |

It will likely work. The biggest concern is the voltage rating, you want the CAP to handle whatever pack voltage you run. Did you try looking at DigiKey? They have a pretty decent selection of parts and may have what you're looking for. The best way to lessen cogging is to run a sensored brushless ESC & motor. If it's a scaler or basher, cogging is less of an issue. |
