Default CC BEC to servo question

I have been reading and I know i need to use a BEC when im running a 3s lipo,
but my question is will the BEC effect my esc or servo if i use a 2s lipo?

Ill be running a 7954 hitec servo and trying to get 7.4v out of it to get 408 oz.
velineon esc and motor
venom 2s 3800mah and 3s 5000mah lipos.

No. I run a bec in my 2s powered sc truck.

Just remember that it won't put out any more voltage than the battery can provide.

so a 10 CC BEC will do the work? would i have to change the v. on the BEC to 7.4?

Yeah it'll do fine. Set the voltage to whatever you think you need, but like I said, it won't put out any more juice than the battery supplies it with.

Ill need a castle plug or find someone around my area who has the plug to change the V. on the bec to 7.4 if i get a 10a. am i correct? and if i get the 6a. it would be enough for the 333 oz o it?
