Default Anyone used the HW 4272SD brushless system?

Hi guys,

I'm building a large scale truck at the moment and I'm trying to decide what to use to motivate it.
The truck will be about 2ft long with a an 18" WB, on 40 series wheels/tyres, and using a Summit 2 speed trans.
I'm looking at using the Hobbywing 4272SD system, as its sensored, 2000kv, and can handle big volts. I did want to use the Tekin R8 system, but its big bucks and the budget is running away with me a bit quickly.

Has anyone used it or have any thoughts on it?: Hobbywing XERUN 150A Sensored 4274SD 2000KV Combo BLUE 1/8 Buggy Truggy | eBay

I have searched the forum, but can only find info on the smaller systems.
The trucks going to crawl and do some light bashing (hence using the 2 speed)

Any thoughts welcome

Get a sensored speed control motor combo.

I have an Tekin R-8 system in my summit. It is flat out amazing. The speed control took a dump and they warranted the speed control at no charge. Even though the summit is not a true rock crawler, it's low speed crawling is great with no cogging and the brake is very strong. The brake can make it endo coming to a stop at high speeds.

A bigFor Tekin, well worth the money.
