| how would these lipos be for scx 10s
looking to get some of my first lipos. how are these from sky: Sky Lipo 2200mAh 7.4V 30C thanks if you have a better recombination please let me know. thanks |

it all depends on the amount of room you have to work with and whether or not you esc is rated for only 2s lipo or 3s. but that battery will work if your esc has a lipo cutoff.

The battery will work even if the ESC has no cutoff but then you have to be careful of overdischarging the pack.

yeah i have lipo cut off. so its a descent pack? didnt think they were much bigger then my old 6 cell. less top heavy would be nice.. should go for something smaller i would think

It still will depend on the room you have. Stock setup allows the use of 2S hard case packs up to and including the mega-capacity packs. Remember that a bigger capacity pack will give you more run time but the motor, ESC and servo will get hot if run too long without stopping to cool off. In my comp crawler I use a 850mah 3S pack because it's light and small and I only need 6 to 8 minutes of run time. |

Sky is a good pack, I run them & Gens Ace packs. I really like both, they say Gens Ace is a higher tier however? I run the Gens Ace 2400 25c hard case in my Wraith which is a lot lighter & thinner than a 6 cell pack.
