| Is this a good lipo and price?
Since Im new to lipos I would like a suggestion on this battery. I would like to have a higher mah but I want this small sized square shaped pack. What do you think? I'm all stock on my LNC so what kind of run time and power do you think this would give me? and what does the 30C mean? something to do with the rate of discharge....I just dont get it... Thanks. |

Not really, this is a similar 2S pack for less.... CheapBatteryPacks - Elite 1300 7.4V 35C Lipo Pack This is what I run, a 3S.... CheapBatteryPacks - Elite 1300 11.1V 35C Lipo Pack, it's also less $$. I can run ~2 comp courses on my 2.2 Bully with dual ESC's & 35T brushed motors. A 850mah 3S would be about perfect & smaller in size. I also use these for practice, so I don't mind the larger size. I like the "Elite" packs, I also really like dealing with CBP, never had a pack or service issue with them. |

There is nothing wrong with losi but IMO, the prices are too high. Id go with cbp or even holmes hobbies batteries. Max amps has IMO the best packs out with their high c ratings and their warranties (normaly 3yr warranty). Max amps is alittle more spendy though.

Hobbypartz.com. Blue, sky,and gens ace lipos are cheap and dependable. I run 2650mah 30c and they cost around $17.50. |

When you order a pack, you can tell them what charger you have, they may know from that. Or PM Chris the battery man on this forum. Here is the CBP balance tap page.... CheapBatteryPacks - Lipo Tap Plugs you may see one that works for you. Last edited by Charlie-III; 11-26-2011 at 06:24 AM. | |

| Bout how much run time do you get out of those what does a charger cost for those. Im up to 3 days on a new kit and still no batteries. Im a complete noob on batteries and a realy tight budget so im trying to decide on what to buy.

Like anything, you usually get what you pay for. I ONLY run packs (NiCD, NiMH, LiPO Elites) from CBP. I have chargers that cover whatever I want to charge. I stay away from MaxAmps batteries.....I never ran them, but have seen enough "high price, so-so performance" to conclude I will stick to CBP (www.CheapBatteryPacks.com) for packs. I have never had to deal with their customer service/warranty.......thus I trust it's great........ I'm running 12th & 10th pan cars, 1.9 & 2.2 crawlers all on CBP packs. I'm a "cheap SOB", thus my choice on vendors. My 1350 45C 3S Lipos run ~14 minutes on a dual ESC 2.2 Bully comp rig. I have 3 packs/rig, thus can always run a freshly charged pack for each comp course. |
