Default hitec 5955tg servo repair.

i have a hitec 5955tg servo that i had in my revo and crashed big! so now i am lookin for anyone that knows what it would cost for repairs thru hitec, and turnaround time. or if anyone else repairs them or not. when i hook it up, it will turn both directions a couple times, then it slows down one way and stops goin one way. and then get jerky when u try to turn again. any info would be helpfull. just wanna figure out if i should save for a new one or send this one in. thanks

How old is it??
It may be under warranty.
Usually it's ~3 weeks when I send one in, from home to home.
You may want to open it up (if it's out of warranty) to see if you blew a few gear teeth. If so, I believe ServoCity has replacement geartrains.

Call hitec and get a claim rolling. The return time varies on the season and backlog of repairs. Last time I sent a servo in I got it back in a few weeks. Great company to deal with overall.

hitec is great on repair and customer service. Most of the time if they can't fix it, they will send you a new one. Or that's how they have done it with me in the past.

Even if it has been years send it in to them. I have had customers send servos in that they did not buy new and still got replaced. Hitec is pretty good
