| Anybody heard of or tried these servos?
So been looking around and ran across these. They claim Amerang has been supplying hitec with servos. XQPower S4230D 30Kg XHV Digital New Servos from Amerang. Specifications:Size: 40.2x20.1x38.8mm Weight: 56g Speed @ 9.6V: 0.15sec/60° Torque @ 9.6V: 24.5Kg.cm Speed @ 11.1V: 0.13sec/60° Torque @ 11.1V: 30.8Kg.cm Motor Type: Coreless Motor Bearing Type: Dual Ball Bearings Gear Type: Titanium Gears Programmable: NO 11.1v? Say what...No bec needed. These spec out about like the 7950. Same price too. $130. Problem is I can only find them in the UK. |

Unsubstantiated claims like that makes me very cautious. This could well be a knock off, though the price doesn't reflect it. Then again I'm a cynical person. |

I'd pass on those. For that kind of money spend it on something you know is proven and works. If you can only find them in the UK support is going to be a PITA if something goes wrong.

Those remind me of this: HobbyKing R/C Hobby Store : Turnigy HV-767 Digital HV-2S Servo 31kg/ .118sec / 78g I was looking into these for a build but didn't do it.
