|  Cheap Spektrum Dsm RX
I looked all over this forum and even at hobbyking.com trying to find a compatible spektrum rx that is cheap. Anyone know if one exists? I either did not search right one does not exist. I built up a small sc truck for my son and I need a spektrum rx but I hate to spend more than the truck is worth on the RX alone. |

unfortunatly you are out of luck, I think this is like the only RX that hasn't been cloned lol.

The least expensive DSM RX is the SR300 or the Losi RTR clone. $50 new

Well sorry for the rest, at least the dx3r crowd have something to cheer about  , i hope they will follow with the dsm ground receiver shortly.

My LHS has the Spektrum ones for $30 or $35, then they have the identical LOSI branded ones for $45. They said there's quite a few people that come in and buy the Losi ones, just because they're putting them in a Losi vehicle. Oh well, their money not mine.

according to spektrum, this radio does them all, so do the rest of the line up, except for rthe dx3r which does only dsm2 DX3C DSM 3-Channel Surface Radio (SPM3300): Spektrum - The Leader in Spread Spectrum Technology |

from what i read DX3C, DX3E, DX2S & marine DX3S should all be able to sync to DSM2 RX... but still only operate at DSM1 speed

| Re: Cheap Spektrum Dsm RX afaik only the DX3Rs are DSM2 DX3C, DX3E, DX2S & marine DX3S still run DSM(1), most get shipped with SR300 RX which is DSM only |
