My CC-01 came with the Tamiya TEU-104BK ESC. I hooked it up today. It operates with forward, brake, and reverse. I assumed this would be a forward and zero delay reverse ESC like the ones used in Axial SXC-10 and other kit ESCs. I can't seem to find instructions to program the ESC for these type of operation. Is it not possible?

It's not possible...It's a basic esc with no programming. The way just about all kit included and rtr esc's used to be.
You will have to buy a programmable esc if you want instant reverse, drag brake etc.
