Default wiring help, MOA + dig switch + MMP

Just got my new crawler in and trying to wire this thing up. I've done got confused

The MMP instructions say "High Power Brushed Motor Mode: Connect all three of the ESC wires to the negative side of the motor"

Here is what i "think" i need to do:
*Wire the + front motor wire to the + "motor 1" location on the dig. Wire the - front motor wire to the - "motor 1" location on the dig.

*Wire the + rear motor wire to the + "motor 2" location on the dig. Wire the - rear motor wire to the - "motor 2" location on the dig.

*lastly, wire the + "esc" from the dig to the "A" post, then wire the - "esc" from the dig to the "B" post?

Does that sound right?

1-I think I would stay away from the "high power brushed mode" in your setup.
2-You will need to swap the + & - for the rear motor (it has a reversed rotation from the front motor)
3-Make sure the motor timing is "0", at least for now.

Otherwise, I think you're OK.

Charlie, thanks you are correct about staying away from the high powered mode. I realized that after a little more reading.

So i have it wired up and the steering works, the dig works, but it aint going no where. The funny thing is the lights on the ESC when i pull the throttle down go green like they are supposed it, and it lights red when i hit reverse, but no movement at all. It also isn't chiming like it did when it was on my losi.

I plugged it in using the castle link and switched it to brushed mode. Anything else i should look for?

Did you calibrate the ESC to your RX? That would be the first thing to do.

Depends on the firmware, older firmware had a bug, you used the the black & white (?), not the black & red.
Newer firmware used black & red.
