mamba 25 esc with a 540 brushed motor

can i run this esc with my 55T 540 brushed motor on 3s?
and would i have to use the "high power motor" wiring?

yes you can, I wouldnt recomend it in a single motor application but some people have done it with good luck, many of the MOA comp guys run 2 of them in their crawlers powering 540 sized motors, (micro sidewinder is the exact same ESC)

with the "high power wiring" you would lose reverse... thats pretty useless for a rock crawler "thumbsup"

I have used the Mamba 25 in my shafty crawlers on 3S and it works just great. "thumbsup" You must use an external BEC though.

Do not use the high power wiring.

thanks grizzly, the BEC is something I often overlook as I now think all crawlers run one anyway :flipoff:. yes BEC is needed for sure.

No, the BEC is only for the steering servo. Hopefully it's a CC 10A BEC.8)

Nope. If you have a BEC for the steering servo then you are good to go.
