I am experiencing the same thing and I'm curious. Is it just coming on when it needs to or is it supposed to be on all the time. ? Hope to figure it out.

C'mon now...

According to the manual...

"A word about the cooling fan: Your Mamba Max Pro will switch the cooling fan on and off as necessary."

Lol my bad. Stupid mistake and I didn't even think about looking in the manual. All other esc's I have the fan goes on all the time so I just expected it. Oh well noob move, we all do it every now and then. I do appreciate you guys actually answering it instead of just "use the search button or check the owners manual" type of response. Lol. Thanks guys.

Sent from my iPhone 3GSlow but still works flawlessly.

Your fan should come on for a few seconds when you power it up.. The castle fans are really crappy like all other fans seem to be, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was "dirt logged" haha. Mine makes an awful sound everytime I turn it on but after that the ESC never turns it on itself.. Never gets hot enough to need it.

Glad you saw the humor in my post. I will let you know when I'm in Orlando on business, my normal site I go to is on the SW corner of town. I may be there this year.

It's 6031 South Rio Grande........I'm there a time or two a year. I will likely NOT have my rig with me.
