Default what are my options

im thinking about going with 4ws and dig on my losi shafty. i dont fully understand transmitters and receivers yet. would i have to have a transmitter with a 3 position switch for both the 3rd and 4th channel? im sure someone has already done this so any recommendations would be appreciated. Losikid, im guessing this is something your hacked gt3b is capable of, would you mind explaining it to me?

Hacked GT3B or Futaba 4pl/4pk/4pks

With any of these you will be able to have mixing for 4ws to control it on/off, reverse it, and proportion it. Then you will have a 3pos switch for your dig.

Get a hacked GT3B from Losikid. I picked up a programmer and a pair of high efficiency voltage regulators with wheel bearings for both my GT3Bs and couldn't be happier. It does more than you need, receivers are cheap and he gives great support.

Just so you know you could get a 3 ch, BUT i would get a 6ch because it still works with the 3 ch rx it comes with and if you get a scaler they usually use a lot of channels so you will have the necessary amount of ch's.
