| sidewinder micro wont run brushed motor
i got a sidewinder micro esc i want to run in my crawler. i programed it with a castle link, saved the changes and hooked it up red to motor positive and black to motor negative,and set the esc to my radio. when i pull the throttle the green LED lights up, and the red LED lights when i hit brake. but my motor wont run. the motor is a integy 55 turn and it does work am i missing something? |

Some of the CC ESC's had a firmware issue, you used the red & white wires, not the red & black wires to the motor. Try it & see. CC FAQ is here..... Tweaked my previous reply a bit, it was a firmware issue, since cleared up with a newer firmware version. The issue was NOT with the ESC itself..... |

i thought i was running the updated firmware but i wasn't. i didnt read all of the pop up window when i hooked up the link. i thought clicking OK automatically updated. turns out i have to go into the software tab and click the firmware update to download it. up to date firmware now and it works like it should on the red and black wires |
