| MMP drag brake.
Hay I have a Twin Force with a 55t Axial on a 13t pinion and 90t spur with Axial trans and some 40 series Summit tyres and wheels. The problem is that when throtall is in neutral the thing can still roll backwards on a steep climb. It is programmed for the crawler drag brake setting. Is there someting that i miss? |

1-I would recalibrate the ESC, making sure throttle trim (and sub trims) is "0" and see if it helps. 2-You may have some throttle trim in it now. 3-I run 213% drag brake, what are you running? (this is different then brake, drag brake is the next line down in the Castle Link software window). 4-How loose is your pinion/spur gear mesh? 5-Are your brushes getting worn down? (brush springs would have less tension, thus letting the motor turn easier). |

The motor is new, not even 1hr on it, the brake is on 213% and the pinion mesh is like it should be. I tried playing with the brake trim but it does not help. At the moment it is on zero. I will try and recalibrate the esc. Thanks. |

i have 2 guesses about your problem. 1- the axial 55t doesnt give good drag break as its not rebuildable and has weaker springs 2- that is a big rig with those large tires just one motor doesnt have the ability to hold it on steep inclines, maybe with a hh brxl esc with its hold brake could hold it. |
