Talking traxxas 2.4 4ch control

Does anyone have pics of a three way switch conversion on a traxxas 2.4 4ch controller? Tried to find some pics in the forum with no luck. Thanks

if you are wanting the existing 3-position switch to work like a true 3-position switch (vs the stock 2 separate, 2-position switches) you'll need an adaptor module by wantasummit (which i think losikid took over).

i do know people have modified the stock 2-position switch to be a 3-position switch. you'll probably want to search through this forum to find that.

If you replace the red switch with a 3 position switch, the wiring will stay the same and you will have 3 positions.

That channel is electrically capable of 3 positions, but it is limited to 2 positions because of the red switch's physical limitations. However, you won't have any method of setting endpoints without an adapter. You may or may not care depending on what you are using it for.

Just double check that the red switch has 3 wires already (I am just going by memory here).
