Default ESC in a box

I am finishing my Honcho , just down to placing the electronics .
I have seen people place thier electronics in boxes , I actually have a set of plastic boxes from radio shack. Will this cause overheating problems with my Novak Rooster Crawler.
I want it all to be completely waterproof , and I thought this was the best option .

Quite a few have done similar with no issues. One advantage with crawlers is that with the high turn motors used along with lack of full power the heat generated is low.

I don't see whay you would have an issue with your idea.
