Rc4wd winch

I am having problem getting it to not run in neutral. I can turn my radio on and off and the winch stops. After I use it the winch sounds like its rattling or slightly running but the spool is not moving. I'm stumped. If anyone has any advice please let me now. Sorry forgot to add I have a 4pl. Thanks

I had the same issue with mine....there is a forum member here that was selling
Some zero creep controllers....try the search....it was a while back when I got mine.....no more creep though....hope this helps.

It could be something diffrent though....just letting you know.

3racing is the way to go for future reference. rc4wd makes great things, but not winches.

A simple inline switch solved the issue for me. Cost $.50. Having a quiet winch priceless.

I have the opposite problem, 3 racing winches have not worked out well for me.

I'm familiar with heyok's winch controllers, but is that really needed for the RC4WD winch? Mine creeps, so I adjust it, then I operate the winch, and it creeps again. Is this really normal for these winches? It's pretty pathetic if this is typical.

what are adjusting?? not sure what you mean.

another question on RC4WD winches. I have a 9300 brushless winch and controller....any idea what the max voltage the controler can handle?? instead of running two batteries, I am looking at hooking it to my main 3S battery. don't want to smoke another controler...when time allows (and funds) I am going with a heyok controler...but for now, I'm using this

Re: Rc4wd winch

Run splitter off one of the radio channels and your esc will bump power down to acceptable level.
It will be about 5.4V

10x on this they look better but preform shitty i took my 9500 brushless winch pulled it apart threw out that brushless junk and put a 3racing motor in it and used the 3racing controller and best of both worlds "thumbsup"
