Default charging battery while installed?

this is actually for my Micro DT, its such a PITA to take the body off to charge every 10 to 15 minutes, if i add a second lead will the battery still charge properly if its plugged into the esc?

nope. you would need to interrupt the connection to the esc. otherwise the charger would just power the esc

This reminded me of a thread from earlier this year when someone left the battery in the rig while charging. They were left with a scorched hunk of metal and plastic after the battery caught fire.

I always charge my batteries in my summit without taking them out...so far so good!
