Default Wiring RC4WD Crawler motors to Novak M2 Dig ESC

Hello there. I was wondering if someone could help me out a little. I have the Novak M2 Dig ESC and just got some new RC4WD 35t Crawler motors to wire up to it. My problem is that in the paperwork for the M2 it said to never use Shottky diodes with it. So how should I go about wiring it all up? I am really new to all of this so I may be asking a really dumb question but thanks for any input you may have.

A schotky diode is like a one way street for electrons. You can't use reverse or you will hear a POP and it's toast. We used these years ago in racing with foward only ESC (No reversw at all).

I'm surprised they even mention it.

Just wire up the motors as shown in the diagram on their instructions. It isn't that hard to do.
