|  novac esc and programming issue
So I got a rooster esc and bought the novac programer for my laptop and can not get it to work. For the initial setup do I have to be online? I put the disk in and it says two options but wont go any farther .

As far as i'm aware the rooster ESC isn't PC programmable. There's nothing mentioned in the specs or on novaks website saying that it is. So that would most likely be your problem. |

OH God Help Us EVEY Manual for the Rooster is here... Rooster Crawler ESC Programming in the order they were issued too. Copy the last link I provided. It is the most recent instruction sheet available. OH, and as WIDELOAD said, as the Rooster is NOT user programable: "So that would most likely be your problem" |

it looks like the Kinetic Racing Brushless ESC™, Kinetic 1S Racing Brushless ESC™ and M2 Dig 3S Dual Brush ESC™ are the only ones that can use the novalink

Don't try to program the M2 with Novalink, you'll likely fry the ESC.

Based on this..... NovaLink Programming Interface? the Kinetics & M2 are all the NovaLink supports.

Our Rooster is a brush controller, that has been discontinued---replaced with our brush Eiger line of electronics. As others have responded, the Rooster is not externally programmable. Quote:
