Default Tranny adjustment help?

May be in the wrong area, still learning the forum lol.

Ok, I put the Wraith kit together but no real adjustment to the clutch adjustment nut. There's a spring behind it but not sure how to set it. I also didn't know how to set the motor gear to the tranny gear. It's just snug against it.

If I were doing it, I'd just snug the nut down to *just* before coil bind. If you've got it so tight you wind up pushing your cylindrical spring into a beehive shape, you're cranking down way too much, IMO. But, that's just my preference, I run mine pretty tight. With a Wraith, you'd probably want it to have just a little slip to it. In that case, nothing you can do but put it on the ground and grab some throttle. If it slips for more than a foot or two, tighten it up.

As far as the mesh, that's also done pretty much by feel. If you hold the pinion and rock the spur, try and get it tight enough to squeeze out all but very teeniest amount of 'tick' back and forth. If you spin the pinion gear with the tip of your finger and it feels notchy, odds are it's too tight. (tough to discern with the motor's magnets feeding in their own resistance, but with more experience you'll get it.) Basically, so long as there isn't an all-out hideous scream while you're running, it should be about close enough.

This is NOT an electronics issue..........

Slipper clutch, set so that when the rig is at a standstill on good traction, when you punch full throttle, you slightly hear the clutch slip (the motor revs more than the rig moves).

Spur to pinion gear mesh, as stated, you almost can't see the clearance, but you can feel a little side to side slop.
