| Looking for Metal 4PL Case
Man I gotta hand it to Harley and his detailed write ups on the 4PL. I bought one a couple of months ago at a great price off eBay and it is night and day difference in build quality and ease of use compared to my Spektrum DX3s and my 2PL. So far I've only seen modded old metal DX3.0 cases with cut foams and 4PK metal cases. Wonder why Futaba didn't come out with one for the 4PL... I might just take a trip to a sporting store to see what they got. I'm sure a double handgun case would work nicely. But at that price point I might just get the 4PK case and throw on a skin lol! |

I have a 4PL as well and I use this case for it. 11-1/2" x 7-1/2" x 4-1/2" Aluminum Case It fits snuggly from top to bottom so you don't need an internal foam to keep it in place. Plus you can put tools/ batteries in there as well. |

Can you post a pic of your 4PL in that case? I wouldn't put my tools in there for risk of scratching up the TX...I use a small shoulder strapped tablet bag for pit stuff. Thanks for the link...didn't think about my favorite place to shop for random goodies! |

Here it is. I trimmed out the steering wheel section of the foam padding on top to make it easier to close. It is a snug fit but the lid closes just fine and like I said, keeps it from moving around in the case. |

Sweet you got me sold. Thanks for the pic! Too bad you have to trim the foam off the lid to make it close though.
