| what is the difference between T-Pro MG996R and MG946R?
...anybody know anything about these servos? I've read many good reviews from users at HobbyPartz.com for both the T-Pro MG996R and the MG946R...these are also being sold on eBay, but the MG946R are cheaper...what are the difference between the two, and which is better?

Gear material? brushed/brushless? Cored/core-less? Gear material??? Or, do you want someone else to search?????? I have not used either servo. For many years I just used Futaba servos, now I run HiTec's for crawlers. | |

I use a few 995 servos and they are awesome for their cheap price.. It's the only servo under $50 that he haven't torn up.. I run it on 6.7 volts too. On 5v from a stock system it's pretty slow and not too powerful.. But up the volts by running a BEC and your set... I just bought a 996r from deal extreme.. $12. It sounds quieter and looks faster than my 995 but I have no real way to test them other than by looking how they perform on my honcho in the rocks..
