| "old school" AM Airtronics MX-3 Tx/Rx Settings Help!?
Hey everyone! I just picked up an old AM Airtronics mx-3 radio, which I really like, and don't think I can go wrong for the $35 bucks. It has alot of settings (for me) But I'm having a problem with my throttle being EXTREMELY sensitive and jumpy right of the line, just a light breath or breeze on the trigger will ingauge the forward in the esc. This is making crawling at slow speed almost impossible!! :( I really hope someone can guide me through some of the settings and help me out! I really like this controller, and would hate to get rid of it. Can anybody help me out? Thanks for your time, Alan Last edited by Grouper; 01-01-2012 at 05:27 PM. |

Hi, what ESC do you have? Did you calibrate the ESC to the radio? It may be possible to set throttle curves in the ESC so it's not twitchy at little throttle. I know CC ESC's & Tekin ESC's have these options to various degrees. |

Thanks for the reply! I'm running a original super rooster, I have ran the setup procedure according to the super roosters manual. I didn't have this problem with my last "stick" style remote. :( |

If it's the same radio I'm thinking about, you should be able to dial in a little negative expo on the throttle channel to numb it up some.

Well... I think this radios No good for crawling. Im finding it Impossible to eliminate the extremly touchly right off the line throttle responce. Is there a pistol grip out there that most people tend to use for crawling? Thanks Guys |
