| what cheap chargers do you guys like??
Hey guys wanted to see what others are using ive had some ups and downs with chargers. I had a imax b6 that worked great actually balanced well but after some time the buttons stopped working which was a shame because it worked great otherwise. Then i switched to a imax b6 pro (chrome one) somewhat by accident ordered something else but was sent this one. And rather then send back and forth just kept it. This charger seems to balance like junk. Still works but not as well as id like. I also have a onyx 230 but only does 3s doesnt balance and is kind of a pain in the ass to use. Basically im looking for something that is 4s capable, ac dc, and balance well. Shouldnt be to difficult but like my first one that the buttons died soon after getting id like to know if you have something that holds up for a bit. Thunder AC6 Smart LiPo Balance Charger/Discharger w/ AC Adapter for 1-6 Lipo/ 1-15 Nimh + USB to PC Software I like these but always seem to see a few different models that looks exactly the same so it worries me that id get a real cheap one instead of the better one. O also is there something out there that can do multiple batteries with out needed a power supply even if i could do 2 at a time it would be sweet. |

I dont have much experience with any high end chargers, but I've been using that thunder AC6 for a while now. It does everything I would ever want a charger to do and has worked flawlessly.

There are quite a few chargers that match your requirements. I don't use them......search this site for "charger" and read up. My son & I run Venom Pro Chargers, they are AC/DC chargers and do well. As to buttons that don't work, some are "carbon buttons" that connect traces on a PC board inside the charger. Disassembling the charger, cleaning the "button" as well as the PC board with rubbing alcohol may "fix" your issue. I will say you may kill the charger if done wrong, but if it's already broken, why not try??? |

I got this one and love it. I have had for about 1 year now and no issues. does everything you ask of it and it is cheap compared to others. The only problem is it is out of stock on hobbyking.com. I saw some on ebay but they were $10 more. I hope it helps. You will need to get the sepertaly sold AC/DC power supply if you want to be able to plug it in. They have some on the site. HobbyKing R/C Hobby Store : GT A-6 Charger/balancer/discharger Here is a differnt model and it is in stock. Still need to get a seperatly sold power supply HobbyKing R/C Hobby Store : GT A-6-10 200W Balance charger & discharger Last edited by RCROCIN'; 01-02-2012 at 11:12 AM. |

+1 on the AC6. It's a clone of another charger that's why it's so cheap. Your also not paying an extra $30-50 for the name.

What about the Thunder AC680? It seems to be an upgraded version of the AC6. Anyone have any experience or thoughts on it? Sent from my DROID2 using Tapatalk |
