battery is good. tied pluging the motor direct to battery and motor runs.
Is there a reset on the ESC?? this is my 1st RC so I'm trying to figure it out.

Is the esc initializing? If your throttle trim on the Tx got moved the esc usually won't initialize when powered up.

I am also new to all of these eletronic issues as I have just recently gotten into crawling, but the other day I ran into 2 issues that caused similar effects to what you are experiencing. My truck would go forward and reverse, but not turn. (Wires were worn through) The other Problem that I had was my connector coming from my esc (Same esc as you) is not functioning correctly and the wires were not making contact and it sounded like just about exactly what you were experiencing. Long story short. It never hurts to check the wires and connecters. Good luck.
