| Know Of a Good Place To Have My Truck Wired Near Northern NJ?
I was thinking of trying it myself, but I just don't want to. Not only have I never soldered anything, but I also just don't know how to wire it... I have an RS10 with Integy lather motors, Rooster Crawler ESC, and ZNO mechanical Dig. I also have a modded Traxass 2.4 with added switches to control front/rear dig and rear steer. I need to find a place close enough to avoid shipping, who will do a good job. Do any of you guys know of a place who knows what they're doing, and can be trusted? I know there are diagrams available by searching. BUT, I'm not looking how to do it. I'm looking for a place TO do it. Thanks! My build thread can be found here if it helps explain what I need at all http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/redca...ld-thread.html |

Nut up and learn how to do it yourself. The hardest part is learning how to solder properly, and that isn't all that hard. There are several threads here that will teach you exactly how to do it. If not, then you'll be running to the LHS or whoever does it for you every time you have a problem or want to change something. That is not the way to have fun in this hobby. |

sorry but I like this.... Nut up Soldering is very easy, but please get a good iron try hako brand and check out their web site GET A GOOD ONE ! not the 12.95 one. Follow the instructions , keep your tip clean use your sponge often and use flux !. As far as the wiring, still basic check out several videos or go to your local hobby shop and request some help from them. AGAIN just do it !!!! or Nut up Best of luck you can do it !! |

1-Duuuuuuuuude & Buggyboy make decent comments. 2-Since I (and my son) are ~10 miles from you, maybe we can help out! First time is free, next time is expensive. As to a LHS, we use Zeppelin Hobbies in Wayne, NJ. Lou & Sue are great to deal with. There are others in the area as well. You may want to sign up to www.GSRCRC.com, it's the major NJ crawling site on-line. Let me know. |
