Hitec servos

I have a 7955tg servo and my bro has a 7954hv and I just saw a 7950th
How do I tell whick is "better" Im running the 7955tg on my ax10 but Im going to need somthing for my losi mrc so if I can do better than the 7955tg for the ax10 I,ll swap it out to the losi and get somthing better.

You could go to various sites, like "HiTec", "Tower Hobbies", "ServoCity" and look up specs. Stick to "standard sized" servo's, not "giant scale" since they get harder to find a mounting place.

The 7955 is a decent servo for the MRC. You will need to mess with mounting since the 7955 is a standard sized servo and the stock plate is set up for a smaller one (like a 645).

Out of the 7954 vs. the 7950, I would probably say go with the 7954.

My son & I have all 3. We both have the 7955 in our MRC's.

For just about any servo over ~250-300inoz, plan on adding a CC 10A BEC as well."thumbsup"

Cool I,ll have more of a search. I need to buy a servo and if I can do better for the 7955 on my ax10 I,ll replace that as the 7955 will be great on my mini:twisted:
I run CC BEC in both my rigs set to 6V I tried 6.5/7v but the 7955 run hot. It may have been an issue elsewhere with the steering though.

the 7955 and 645 are both standard szed servos. the stock mrc use a mini servo but there are standard servo mounts or if u have the mrc pro it comes with it.

out of the 3 7955,7954, and 7950. the 7950 has the most torque. the 7955 and 7954 at 4.8v and 6v have the same specs (250ish at 4.8 and 333 at 6) just the 7954 can handle more voltage (7.4v @ 403oz torque) and has steel gears instead on titanium gears. while the 7950 has titanium gears is hv and at 6v is around the 400oz range and at 7.4v is about 480 range. for the price the 7954 is best aqnd some people have had more issues with the 7950.

OK, I'll go look, I thought (probably incorrectly) that the 645 was a smaller servo.

well, I will go with 7954 and 7955,

The 7950TH is the best of all of those. It has titanium gears, the highest torque (486oz/in @ 7.4v) and it can be run at higher voltage (7.4v). Definitely one of the best servos out there IMO.
