Default RC4WD Winch Set Up

I have a RC4WD Bulldog 9300XT Winch and a Spektrum DX3E Radio, my question is how do I set the Auxiliary channel? I have it set to 3P Switch but I can't get the winch to stop and stay stopped. When I push the AUX button up and winch cable starts to spool out if I then push the button down once the winch stop for a bit then starts to spool back in.

Yes, like you said, put CH3 into the 3P mode. Then turn the AUX-H and AUX-L to max.
Maybe verify that this actually is going to send the signal you want. Plug a servo into CH3. It should move fully Left, then center, then fully right.

Something I don't know about that transmitter is how to adjust the center position of CH3. When you have the servo in there, take note of where it is positioned when you are commanding for center from the transmitter.

Plug your Bulldog controller into CH2 and use your steering wheel to operate the winch. Does this work properly? I think you will find that the center that the Bulldog requires is different than the center you get from CH3. When you plug the servo back into CH2, does it move the servo to a different center than CH3 did?

As Mike5025 said, use one of my controllers if you can't get the stock one to work. The link to my stuff is in my sig.

Good luck with it.
