Default help with micro deans....

so i want to switch everything i have for my mrc to micro deans but im a little confused....there is like 3-4 different micro deans....does it matter which ones i get or is there a specific one i should go with....thanks for the help guys...

Just make sure they are polarized so you don't connect them wrong.
They come in red & black. Here's a link:

Get red polarized for the battery to esc connection; get black polarized ones for the motor to esc connection. Pay attention to the directions on the pack for the proper wiring.

well heres a new question...i didnt pay attention to the red being for the batt connection and ordered the black one...are there any difference other than color....

no difference other than color. the reason for using 2 colors is so you dont accidently hook the battery up to the motor side of the esc and fry it. if using the same color for both mark them in some way so you get them screwed up.

+1, or, put female on the ESC motor side, male on the ESC battery side. This way you can't mess up where you plug them.

Why this way? The female on the ESC motor side means that if a motor is NOT plugged into the ESC but the battery is, it's harder to short the pins on the Deans.
The male on the ESC battery side means there is a female on the battery pack, this makes it harder to short the pack!

i thought there was a male and female half to each side of these plugs....at least thats the way it looks to me...hmmm

The polarized ones have only one "prong" (with one female "prong" receiver) on the connecting side of each connector. Pay attention to how the packaging says to wire them.

Non-polarized are male and female.
