| CC sv2 wont power brushless but works on brushed motor
I acquired this SV2 from a member here and its brand new. My problem is im tyring to power a velineon motor but it seems to not work. I plugged in a brushed motor and it works fine but when it comes to the brushless traxxas velineon it wont spin the motor at all. I tried 2 different velineon motors and had the same results. What can be wrong?

Not 100% sure, but I believe you will need to use a castle link to set it to brushless mode rather than brushed mode. Hth Pete. |

there is a way to do it without the castle link, you just need to follow the steps in the book and count all the flashing lights. I can tell you it is way less hassle with the castle link.

I think if you go to castle creations they have the manuals online. Of course after you do that you will find the manual as you walk back out to the garage, just a little trick I learned years ago.......your welcome |

If you have the extra $20 buy the castle link. It will save you time and frustration. You can use it to set up everything you might dream of on that esc. Hope you get it working. |

| Re: CC sv2 wont power brushless but works on brushed motor X2 it gives you way more options for your drag break, and you can adjust your throttle/break curves to you liking.

Slow down, read the manual, read the manual again like you really want to learn, then go try stuff. | |
