What "truck"? What are you doing?

You know what else won't hurt anything? Asking what you want to ask instead of using a half finished question in the thread title.

I'd assume he wants to use his real truck with an inverter to charge his RC batteries

I will guess he wants to know if he can use his truck battery to power a battery pack charger.

Cold WILL lower the ampacity of ANY battery (pulling power is a chemical reaction, cold temps limit this conversion).

You can use your truck battery to power a pack charger, but the time available to charge is limited.

lol....ok crawlinmike might have hit the nail on the head....but yea what i mean i know i can use my real fullsize truck battery for a power source to run my charger....the question was will it hurt anything to do this if its all out in the cold during the process....and after a little reading i found my answer....only reason i asked is because i was in a hurry to charge a few batteries and i figured asking would be faster than looking....ended up just doin it and it worked ok....probable didn't get a good full charge i understand but nothing burnt to the ground so i consider it a success....lol....thanks guys...

Would probably be best to have the truck running during the charge to keep amperage up.
