Default I got a drill bit in my hitec 5685 servo

So the other day one of the brass gears stripped inside my Hitec 5685 servo, no big I do that all the time, like a retard I lost one of the pins that the gears rotate on. I was wishfully thinking the pin would come with the new gears, ya, it doesn't, So I am pissed, got my new gears and I can't get my servo together. After tearing the entire garage apart I decided to measure the other pin I did not lose because they were the same size, it was 1.57mm, so I switched my micrometer to fraction and it was 1/16, so I grabbed a cheap 1/16 drill bit I had laying around and it mic'd 1.57mm, uh ya, so I am pretty happy now, cut it to length with a little trial and error and I am crawlin again. Thought I would share my lame story. This should work with the 5645 servo as well.

Yea drill rod is great for a lot of uses. You can buy blanks at McMaster if you want to keep some on hand or have a need for some strong pins.
