Budget servo for trail rig or 1/8 mt
 

I know this is RCC but all the crawler guys know servos best! :)
looking for a few 200+ tq servos, I would love to find something in the US but hobbyking or other overseas will work.

some of get mentioned from time to time but only it seems in older threads.

I've bought seven of them for different rigs, killed two and the rest are still working.
The grease that comes in the gear set is of poor quality, and should be replaced in my opinion.
Other than that, I beat the snot out of mine and they have held up very well.

thanks, I guess all the stuff already in the US is more expensive. definitely an option nonetheless! if problems arise they are much closer for a warranty claim.

i only know of the towerpro MG996R. they dont really have the torque for crawling, but are cheap so i buy 4 for the price of 1 high torque servo and just use them in scale or foff trucks. had one in water on a truck a while back and it still works fine.

Leaning towards those or the turnigy ones. I'll get half a dozen maybe :)
