Default Good sensored crawler esc for brushless Tekin?

Hi there,
After reading some threads on electronics I read that some brand sensored esc's are not compatable with some brand brushless motors. I have a Tekin Redline 17.5 t that I am putting in a Wraith. Also have a Casle BEC. Will be running 3s. What would a compatable sensored crawling esc? I was looking at this HobbyKing one but not sure about them.

HobbyKing R/C Hobby Store : Hobby King 80A Sensored/Sensorless Car ESC (1:8/1:5)

Thanks a bunch!

I believe it is only the Novak crawler ESC's that won't go into crawl mode with a non Novak BL motor.

I've heard "crawl mode" a few times now and never can seem to find an answer as to what exactly crawl mode really is.

Is it simply full forward to reverse with no delay?

crawl mode is full forward wit no delay, AND drag brake. on a novak esc it must be paired with a novak crawler motor, or the esc will act just like a novak havoc esc. there is a resistor inside the novak crawler motors that the esc senses.

you can run a novak crawler brushless motor with any other esc and be fine. i run a mmp with the novak ballistic crawler brushless 18.5t. everything works great together.

Castle Mamba Monster Pro or Tekin RS or RX8 would be the best in my mind.
