Default (HELP) 4PL & Mamba Micro Pro's

Ok I need some help here. I have a Futaba 4PL and dual Mamba Micro pros in my XR10. I have watched Harleys how to video on the 4PL and dual esc’s. I have been able to program it so both motors/esc’s turn forward and only the front motor/esc will turn backwards. Also my trigger is reversed (When I pull back it goes in revers and when I push forward it goes forward). Also the steering is reversed.

Can someone please help with these problems…..? Please explain as if you were talking to a 5 year old, lol.

Thanks

Hi, you sound like you have decent hardware.

1-For whatever reason, Futaba radios seem to like having the throttle channel "reversed", this is a TX function.
2-You seem to have conflicting statements, are both motors going in the correct direction, os is one motor going reverse to the other??? If one is "reversed" (meaning you want forward and the rig wants to get really short), swap the 2 wires on the rear motor, this will reverse motor direction.
3-As to steering, you "may" need to reverse that in the TX as well (not a common issue).

Check & post back, someone can help.

TX function? Please explain how to change this setting?

No wheels are not turning in opposite directions.
I cannot get the rear wheels (ch4) to turn in reverse.
Everything is wired correctly.

Thanks

In most radios, there is either a "hard switch" or a "software switch" that allows you to reverse a channel.
In the 4PL I believe it's a software switch. Find the channel and set it to "rev" instead of "nor" (I believe that is how it reads.)

As to the rear motor not running in reverse, sounds like a radio (TX) setting.

Or reverse may be turned off in the ESC programing.

Reverse your channels in the radio menus, and check all the setting on your ESC's with a Castle link and PC software.
