Default Is my mamba monster extreme fried?

On friday i received a Traxxas xo-1. Unfortunately in New York, it snowed about 5 inches the next day. Today I saw that a road near my house was relatively clear so i ran the car.

Anyways the mamba monster extreme got wet. I dried it off and it seemed like very little water got it. After 2 hours i tried plugging in the batteries so see if it worked and the ESC started to spark and smoke. Do you think it will be alright? It was running fine even with the water. Thanks

+1, while it "may" work if dried out, "Sparks & smoke" in electronics is a bad thing.
I would look to here.... Castle Creations | Repair Center to get it fixed/replaced.

You sure you didnt plug that battery in backwards?

No they wont warranty water damage and I am sure it says in the manual not to get it wet so that would be on you.

What do you mean back wards a just plugged them in. Traxxas models are pretty straitforward.
