What battery in the rig (NiCD/NiMH, LiPO & how many cells or pack voltage)?
Did you try a different battery pack?
Are the batteries in the TX good?
Are there caps on the motor?
Did this just start happening or has it started after a change (like different ESC or motor)?

no caps on a worn motor will cause major glitching, least from my experience. Change out the motor and try it....or install some caps and give it a go...is the radio am, fm, or 2.4??

Make sure Rx antenna wire is clear of any other wires and your Rx is not bunched up with any wires around it. This is common when cramming stuff into radio box.

squatch71,i changed out the motor and that seems to have fixed the problem. can i install caps on an axial 27t? and right now im using the stock am radio (but my next purchase is a 2.4)
hunter711, my servo wire and my esc wire were packed right on top of the receiver, but the rx wire is bound in a plastic wire holder and servo taped to the roof of my tuber. would the wires cause the glitching?

I have had it happen. Sometimes I drill small hole in Rx box lid above Rx and route antenna out that way, when things get too conjested in box, applying small amount of sealent in hole around antenna wire, just to keep moisture out.
