Default Thunder AC680 charge modes

Hi everyone. I've been using a Thunder 'Dual Power' AC680 charger that someone loaned me until I get my new charger. I have been charging my Lipos with it and it seems to do a good job. While scrolling the menu I noticed it has a few different settings, such as Lipo "CHARGE, BALANCE, STORAGE, FAST CHARGE and DISCHARGE". I have charged my Lipo packs under the "CHARGE" setting with seemingly no problems but I wondered if I should be using the "BALANCE" setting instead. Even though I used the other setting, I had the tap on the Lipo plugged into the balance adapter board as well and I had assumed that it was maintaining a balanced charge, afterward when checking the battery data with an EOS Sentry the cells were all very close in voltage and the battery shows a full charge. I just became curious after finding that "BALANCE" setting and it got me wondering if that's what I should be using for my pack charging?
Anyone have any advice or ideas (especially those of you who use this or similar charger such as an AC6)? Thanks!

I always use the Lipo Balance charge on mine. Curious to know myself.

I have the same charger and always balance I've never done it any other way. It may take a little longer but it's a quality charge and keeps your battery happy.

I have that same charger and it does a great job. I always use the balance charge unless I'm in a hurry and then I use the fast charge in those instances. When I get done wheelin, I always hook the battery back up and run it in storage mode so it charges or discharges each cell to 3.8 volts for sitting around until next time.
