Default Mamba max pro on 3's do i need external bec

Like it says, ill be running 3s mostly going to a hitech 7955 servo.

Yes with that servo you should use a BEC to get the most out of it.

You will defiantly want a bec for that servo, especially because you are running the mmp. The mmp has quite a weak bec, I think it is something like 1.5 amps. A servo like the 7955 can draw anywhere from 4-6 amps.

No way. You should never run a BEC on anything ever. Why would Castle put one in the ESC if you needed to run a second one.

Wrong!......Even in jest.

My MMP wouldn't run a 7955 with the truck off the ground without freaking out.

I run my 4 hitec 7980's on 1 mmp with no bec and never have any issues. That's on 6s.

Im gunna try both ways for a laugh, i use a 3" extension lead to solder my pos/neg to servo and run the signal straight to recievrr.... I can unplug it anytime
