I solder mine directly, but have heard others prefer the bullets.

i prefer deans when using brushed for easy swapping in the field, i always have a back up in case of smoke or dead brushes. when running BL, direct solder.

Maybe I'm old school, but I like Deans for brushed motors.

+1, I go direct solder to the motor.

I use the bullets. I like being able to remove just the motor or esc from the rig if I have to and not have to remove both everytime if either needs servicing or replaceing.

Same here, plus it's easier to reverse polarity with the bullets if needed.

So in other words, you've already made the decision you're going to use 4mm bullets and you want to know which brand you should get, correct?

I say go Dean's, but either one should work just fine.

i always use 3mm or 4mm bullets on all my motors for easy removal instead of having to heat op the soldering iron. deans will work too, just make sure its opposite of your battery connection so you cant accidently hook the battery to the motor wires

Yup, bullet connectors on all my models. I can swap ESC's and motors around very easily. Best to stay consistent with these connectors and your batteries.

Thanks for all the replies . Think I'm gonna use my Castle 4mm Bullets . I usually solder my motors on race setups but on crawlers and bashers I like the convenience of connectors . Also like the idea of being able to change the polarity with the bullets without having to break out the soldering iron . Thanks again .
