| DX3C question
I have a Spektrum DX3C. I've never had a transmitter with this many adjustments. I have a question: If I set the throttle travel to 150%, does that mean the truck goes 50% faster than if I left it at 100%? Sounds like a silly question, but I just don't know the answer. Thanks, Josh |

No, properly calibrated the ESC will be full speed at full throttle trigger throw. If you set the EPA to 150%, you will hit full throttle before you hit the trigger stop making speed control harder (small trigger movement means bigger application of throttle). The inverse (setting throttle to less than 100%) would mean the rig does NOT hit full speed, useful when teaching to drive a go-fast. |

no it will only go as fast as where the esc recognizes full throttle. say you calibrate(set) the esc with the travel set at 100 then turn the travel up to 150, all that will happen is you will hit full throttle before you max out the throttle trigger pull

good question i have always wondered too if let say you put the steering travel to 150%.... does that mean it will ''FORCE'' it? |

My DX3E didnt have as much travel as my DX3R and I ended up having to redo my linkage to gain the travel back. | |

I used the 100% - 150% range for a Savox steering servo I put in my AX10. It has more range/travel than the stock servo. When I first put the servo in the truck, it had the same travel as the stock servo. But then I was able to use this tuning on the Tx and turn up the range, and adjust proper stopping points. You can probably try to do this with any servo, but I think you do risk over-extending the servo's range if it is not a servo with a larger than standard range.
