Default esc/motor help

not really crawler related but i figured you guys would be able to help me...
im looking at a 3500kv tacon brushless...most people i have seen use the 35 amp hobbywing esc with these...i found one that comes with a 120 amp hobbywing esc slightly used for a fair price...my question is what would be the benefit if any of runnin such a larger esc coupled with this motor...help me out guys..thanks..

the main benefit you should see is the esc will stay cooler and handle 3s lipo better. the 35a version with that motor is kinda at the esc safe limit. if the price is good i would go for it
