Default Wet receiver.....is there any hope?

I submerged my rig today in a puddle that was much deeper than anticipated. I found out the hard way that my waterproof receiver box was not quite waterproof and water got in on the receiver. I pulled power as soon as I could get in it and popped the case top. As soon as I got home, I blew it out and put it in a bag of rice. What are my chances that this thing is ok tomorrow?

Yep, it's really down to luck at this point.

Make sure it's really dry, cross your fingers, plug it in and see.

The light on it was blinking red when I unplugged the battery. I thought that was a better sign than no light at all. Thanks for the replies.

Depends on the receiver. I know those cheap as heck flysky ones can take a beating when it comes to water.

Put it in a small container with some dry rice. The rice will absorb the moisture.

QFT. If it IS dead, just drop the 35 on the FS-GT3b. I never bothered to water proof my electronic box and Ive been halfway underwater with my SCX-10 and Ive had no issues at all.

New receivers for that radio run 7 bucks so you can afford one for all your R/C vehicles.

Pulled it from the rice tonight and blasted with compressed air. Everything worked great when I plugged it in. Guess I can unwatch the receivers on eBay. Thank you all for the feedback.
